Rethinking Network Mobility in Pervasive Markets: Model and Trust
نویسنده
چکیده
With recent advances of wireless ad hoc networking, especially opportunistic forwarding and cognitive radio, there is an increasing concern that existing mobility models are insufficient to represent network mobility in real world settings. In this paper, we discuss our proposal for a more realistic mobility model which captures key features of human movements in pervasive markets. Our findings lead to a non-traditional mobility model which can be used to reconstruct the statistical patterns commonly observed in the literature, and facilitate the study of mobile communication and software engineering design problems under the context of pervasive computing for markets.

متن کاملMATE: Mobility and Adaptation with Trust and Expected-utility
Mobility is one of the defining characteristics of many pervasive environments. As pervasive devices move, they experience new contexts (e.g., new network boundaries or new peering devices) to which they may adapt by loading new software components or by updating existing ones. Unfortunately, loading and updating code introduces security problems, particularly because components may be from unt...
متن کاملTrust and Mobility Aware Service Provision for Pervasive Computing
Successful provision of services in pervasive networks represents a major challenge. The requester of a service or resource should be able to decide whom to rely on, not only depending on the apparent QoS that various providers offer, but also on the trustworthiness of the providers, as well as their mobility patterns. Existing approaches offer a rather simplistic solution to the problem: eithe...
متن کاملAnalyzing Correlation between Internationalization Orientation and Social Network
The research on social networks and collaborative strategies has highlighted from the mid of 1980 which has contributed to the success and development of firms. The relationship and communication with trade partners in overseas help success of firms in entering to foreign markets and improve new partners and new markets abroad. Doing firm internationalization in foreign countries faces some ba...
متن کاملDisTriB: Distributed Trust Management Model Based on Gossip Learning and Bayesian Networks in Collaborative Computing Systems
The interactions among peers in Peer-to-Peer systems as a distributed collaborative system are based on asynchronous and unreliable communications. Trust is an essential and facilitating component in these interactions specially in such uncertain environments. Various attacks are possible due to large-scale nature and openness of these systems that affects the trust. Peers has not enough inform...
